Where did the summer go?

Wow, time sure flies! We have had an eventful summer, full of overnight guests and weekend BBQs and getting the new house in order (I haven't forgotten about posting before and after pictures of the house...I will try to get to that soon)!

So anyway, my sister said she was tired of checking my blog and always seeing the same thing week after week, so here you go, sis...a new blog post just for you! :-)

I'll even throw in a picture of Skipper smiling for the camera!

Kittens are cute!

While visiting my sister, I enjoyed getting to play with the kittens their cat Missy had -- they were about a month old. Enjoy the pictures! The black one was everyone's favorite...his name is George (but Ben pronounces it "Gorge") -- he's very curious and will just stare intently at you when you talk to him. He's also very fast!

Lazy Sundays

My brother snapped this picture of Andrew and me on a recent Sunday afternoon...one of my favorite ways to relax is to nap on the couch with Andrew while he's watching football... when football is on the TV it always makes me very sleepy, for some reason....

Fake snow

My cat, Gilligan, loved sleeping on the fake snow under our Christmas tree (gotta have fake snow to go with the fake tree) so much that when I took the tree down, I didn't have the heart to take away his new favorite bedding. So I stuck the snow in a box under our bed, and now whenever we can't find Gilligan, we know exactly where to look. "Gilligan's sleeping in his snow box again!"

Cats are cute. You have to humor them.

The Boys

It's been a while since I posted a picture of Skipper and Gilligan. So here are my little fuzzy fellows! I love having them in my life...I'm so glad God created cats, and that He created these two in particular!

Going On a Plane Ride!!

On Saturday morning I will be flying to Portland, where my lovely sister and my adorable nephew will pick me up! I'm so excited to see my family again! It will be a quick trip (I fly home Monday morning). But better than nothing!
